A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN
DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 356, EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of March, 19998, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for the
area of land consisting of approximately 21.6 acres located
between the Santa Ana River and the SR 91/Riverside Freeway west
of Weir Canyon Road, having a frontage of 45 feet on the west
side of Pullman Drive and a maximum depth of 2,265 feet, and
being located 38 feet west of the centerline of Crystal Drive
(8015, 8025, 8035, 8045, 8050, 8055, 8065, 8080, 8085 and 8095
East Crystal Drive); and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC98-45 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as Amendment No. 356 be adopted by the City
Council changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed
area to "General Industrial" in accordance with Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 28th day of
April, 1998, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 356 and did give notice thereof in the manner and
as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct
such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein
an opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports
and did consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 356 changing the land use designation in the
aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with
the City should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 356 to the General Plan
