1. CALL TO ORDER: The Community Services Board meeting was called to order at 5:32 p.m. by Vice Chair
Wilson.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Board Member Querijero-Ferreras led the Board in reciting the Pledge of
Allegiance.
3. UNSCHEDULED PUBLIC COMMUNICATION: None.
4. SCHEDULED COMMUNICATION: None.
5. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Vice Chair Wilson presented the January 10, 2019 Minutes to the Board
Members for changes or corrections. Vice Chair Kelso made a motion to approve the January 10, 2019
meeting minutes, seconded by Board Member Querijero-Ferreras. The motion was approved with 5 ayes; Vice
Chair Wilson accepted the minutes.
6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
a. FY2018/2019 CDBG Public Service Funding – Oral Presentations: The board listened to presentations and
asked questions of the following agencies:
1) Acacia Adult Day Services
2) Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County
3) Community SeniorServ
4) Anaheim Family YMCA
5) Council on Aging
6) Creative Identity
Joe Perez reported the remainder of the agencies that applied for funding will provide oral presentations at
the next Board meeting on February 21st. Board Members will discuss the funding recommendation at the
March Community Services Board meeting.
7. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS: Joe Perez reported the Volunteer Luncheon invitations have b een mailed out to
Board Members and shared that the event will be held on March 13th at the City National Grove.
8. ADJOURNMENT: Vice Chair Wilson adjourned the meeting at 7:25 p.m.
