5869ORDINANCE NO. 5869 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING (RECLASSIFICATION NO. R99-00-15(4) ). THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, following a duly noticed public hearing held on January 19, 2000, pursuant to the provisions of Section 18.03.085 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, the Planning Commission did adopt its Resolution No. PC2000-9, amended in its entirety nunc pro tunc by its Resolution No. PC2000-14, determining that a change or changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made to reclassify certain properties, including the subject property, into the (SE) Sports Entertainment Overlay Zone; and WHEREAS, the owner of property located at 1551 South Douglass Road, more particularly described below, has requested reclassification of said property from the ML, Limited Industrial Zone into the ML(SE) Limited Industrial - Sports Entertainment Overlay Zone, Reclassification No. 99-00-15(4); and WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning map referred to in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by rezoning and reclassifying that certain property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: PARCEL 1: LOT 4 AND THE EAST 46 FEET OF LOT 5 OF THE TRAVIS TRACT, AS SHOWN ON A MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 5, PAGE 120 OF MISCELLANEOUS RECORDS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. EXCEPTING FROM SAID LOT 4 THAT PORTION, LYING EASTERLY OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE 40 FOOT COUNTY ROAD SECOND DESCRIBED IN THE DEED FROM B.R. DOUGLASS AND OTHERS TO THE COUNTY OF ORANGE, RECORDED OCTOBER 7, 1926 IN BOOK 682, PAGE 109 OF DEEDS. ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM THAT PORTION AS DESCRIBED IN THE FINAL ORDER OF CONDEMNATION BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, A CERTIFIED COPY OF WHICH WAS RECORDED NOVEMBER 2, 1964 IN BOOK 7285, PAGE 833 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning Department is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted.
