A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS FOR CERTAIN IMPROVE-
MENTS TO BE MADE BY THE CITY UNDER THE STREET
LIGHTING ACT OF 1931.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
require the Superintendent of Streets to make and file with the
City Clerk a written report with reference to proposed street
lighting improvements under the Street Lighting Act of 1931; and
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets did make such
written report and filed said report with the City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim did
present said report to the City Council for consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
consider the report and did consider the cost estimate of the
Superintendent of Streets, did consider the period of time
recommended for the improvements, did consider the diagram or
map showing the streets affected by the proceedings, did
consider the lots or parcels of land abutting upon such
streets, did consider the proposed assessment of the total
amount of the probable or estimated cost of expenses of the
proposed improvements upon the several lots or parcels of land
shown upon the diagram or map in proportion to the estimated
benefits to be received by each such lot or parcel of land for
the period of time recommended for the continuance of the
improvements, and did consider the plans and specifications of
the street lighting system.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Report of the Superintendent of
Streets, as submitted, is hereby approved and shall stand
hereafter as the Lighting Assessment District 1977-1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and she is hereby directed to keep a copy of
said Report on file in her office for reference by any party
interested in the proposed assessment district.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City o£ Anaheim this 13th day of June~ 1989.

DISCUSSION.
We propose to reform Street Lighting Maintenance District No. 1977-1 for
the maintenance and operation of street lights within an area shown on a
map attached to and made a part of this report. The district contains 29
parcels. The estimated cost of maintenance and operation for seven (7)
street lights included in this assessment district for a period of five
(5) years is $4,355.40.
Costs to be assessed are'
Maintenance and operation for a 5-year period.
Seven (7) 9500-lumen at $10.37 per unit/month
Incidentals (typing, posting, advertising,
administration, etc.)
Total (over 5-year period)
Total cost per year

SUBJECT: REFORMATION OF STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
NO. 1977-1 (TRACT NO. 1404)
The proposed assessment district includes each parcel of property
abutting on Lenz Drive in Tract No. 1404 as shown on the attached map.
It is recommended that July 1, 1989 be the time for the beginning of the
assessment period and shall continue for 5 years from said date.
