WITH THE PLAZA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, on June 5, 1989, the Planning Commission of the
City of Anaheim selected and designated the boundaries of the

approved a Preliminary Plan for the redevelopment of the Project
Area, and authorized submission of the Preliminary Plan to the
Anaheim Community Redevelopment Agency and Community Redevelopment
Commission: and
WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law
(Health and Safety Code, Section 3300, et seq.) requires that a
project area committee be formed if a substantial number of low and
moderate income families will be displaced by the Project; and
WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law also
requires, in the event the Project will not displace a substantial
number of low and moderate income families, the Anaheim Community
Redevelopment Agency and Commission to consult with and obtain the
advice of residents and community organizations, and further
requires that the proposed Redevelopment Plan be provided to such
residents and community organizations prior to submitting it to the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Plaza Redevelopment Project for which the
Anaheim Community Redevelopment Agency and Commission are preparing
a Redevelopment Plan, does not contain a substantial number of
residential properties housing persons and families of low and

moderate income persons or families will not be displaced by the
Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Project.
Section 2: The Anaheim Community Redevelopment Agency and
