Planning Commission Appointments Commissioner Meeks offered a motion and the MOTION CARRIED with the majority vote to appoint Commissioner Keys as Commission Chairperson for 2020/2021.
Commissioner White offered a motion and the MOTION CARRIED with the majority vote to appoint Commissioner Armstrong as Commission Chairperson Pro-Tempore for 2020/2021.

Request: The applicant requests approval of a
Conditional Use Permit to establish a convenience market
in an existing retail unit with sales of alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption (Type 21 Off-Sale ABC License) and a Determination of Public Convenience or Necessity to permit the sales of alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption for the new convenience market
(Mint Liquor).
Environmental Determination: The Planning Commission will consider whether the proposed action is Categorically
Exempt from the requirements to prepare additional environmental documentation per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities).

ITEM NO. 3 ZONING CODE AMENDMENT NO. 2019-00166 (DEV2019-00110)
Location: Citywide Request: A City-initiated amendment to Title 18
(Zoning) of the Anaheim Municipal Code modifying Chapters 18.42 (Parking and Loading) to modify residential parking standards, and 18.92 (Definitions) to modify the definition of a “Bedroom.”
Environmental Determination: The Planning Commission will consider whether the proposed
action is exempt from the requirements to prepare additional environmental documentation per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15061(b)(3).
This item was continued from the May 27, 2020 and June 8,
2020 Planning Commission meetings.
Recommended City Council Approval 1st Motion Commissioner Meeks offered a motion, seconded by Commissioner Mulleady requiring a 20% cap for tandem parking in multiple family developments. VOTE: 7-0
Chairperson Lieberman and Commissioners Armstrong, Keys, Meeks, Mulleady, Vadodaria and White voted yes.
2nd Motion Commissioner White offered a motion, seconded by Commissioner Keys to approve staff’s recommendations to modify the definition of a “bedroom”, and to increase the parking ratio for small lot single-family development with additional half space being required at the fourth bedroom. VOTE: 7-0 Chairperson Lieberman and Commissioners Armstrong, Keys, Meeks, Mulleady, Vadodaria and White voted yes. 3rd Motion Commissioner Keys offered a motion,
seconded by Commissioner White to continue the public hearing to July 20, 2020, for staff to bring back the draft Ordinance before the Planning Commission. VOTE: 7-0 Chairperson Lieberman and
