A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COONCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM VACATING PORTIONS OF BLUE
GUM AND WHITE STAR AVENUE.
WHERE^S, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did, by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Services Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of December 1988, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the
evidence submitted, that the street, highway or public service
easement hereinafter specificall7 described is unnecessary for
present or prospective public purposes including nonmotorized
transportation facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in
place public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of portions
of Blue Gum Way and White Star Avenue.
A portion of Lot 10 in Block 11 of the Golden
State Tract, City of Anaheim, as per map recorded
in Book 4, Pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County, and a portion of Lot 22
in Block K of the Kramer Tract, City of Anaheim,
as shown on map recorded in Book 12, Pages 87 and
88 of Miscellaneous Records, in the Office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, State of
California, described as follows:
PARCEL 1
All that portion of Blue Gum Way, 64.00 feet
wide, bounded northerly by the easterly
prolongation of the northerly line of Parcel "A"
as shown on map filed in Book 891, Page 46, of
Parcel Maps, Records of Orange County, and
bounded northeasterly by the northwesterly
prolongation of the southwesterly line of that

portion of blue Gum Street, 90.00 feet wide,
which extends northwesterly of White Star Avenue,
and bounded southerly by the northwesterly line
of said White Star Avenue. This portion of Blue
Gum Way is 399 feet, more or less, in length, and
shall include all spandrel widenings at both the
northerly and southerly terminations.
PARCEL 2
Ail that portion of White Star Avenue, 52.00 feet
wide, lying southwesterly of the southeasterly
prolongation of southwesterly line of Blue Gum
Street, 90.00 feet wide, as mentioned in the
foregoing Parcel 1. This portion of White STar
Avenue is 570 feet, more or less, in length, and
terminates southwesterly in a cul-de-sac near the
Riverside Freeway, and shall include the spandrel
widening of its termination at Blue Gum Street.
PARCEL 3
Beginning at the intersection o£ the centerlines
of White Star Avenue and Blue Gum Street; thence
51° 42' 00" ~ along the centerline of White Star
Avenue, 70.81 feet; thence S 3°0 18~00" E, 20
feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence N 51°
42' 00" W, 26.91 feet to a point in a curve
having a radius of 555.00 feet, a radial line to
said point bears N 51° 33~ 12" E; thence along
said curve Southeasterly through a central angle
of 3° 59' 40" an arc distance of 38.71 feet to a
point, a radial line to said point bears N 55°
32' 58" E; thence Northwesterly along a curve
having a radius of 25.00 feet, through a central
angle of 93° 50~ 58" an arc distance of 40.95
feet; thence N 38° 18t 00" W, 12.00 feet to the
True Point of Beginning.
PARCEL 4
All that triangular portion of Blue Gum Way
bounded on the South by the Easterly prolongation
of the North line of Parcel "A" as shown on Hap
filed in Book 81, Page 46, of Parcel Maps,
Records, of Orange County, bounded on the West by
the Easterly line of Parcel 6 as shown on Parcel
Map filed in Book 91, Page 31, of Parcel Maps,
Records of Orange County, and bounded on the East
by a line 45.00 feet distant and parallel to the
centerline of Blue Gum Street.
Reserving therefrom unto the City of Anaheim, an
easement for public utility purposes for the
installation and maintenance of electrical and

water facilities over, under, along and across
the above described portions of White Star Avenue
and Blue (;um Way. Together with all reasonable
rights of ingress and egress.
Also reserving therefrom unto Pacific Bell, a
public utility easement to construct, place,
operate, inspect, maintain, repair, replace and
remove such aerial and underground telephone,
telegraph and communication structures as the
company may from time to time require, consisting
of poles, anchors, wires, cables, conduits,
manholes, markers and necessary fixtures and
appurtenances, within the above described
portions of White Star Avenue and Blue Gum Way.
Together with ail resonable rights of ingress and
egress. Said reservation to said Pacific Bell is
subject to the prior rights of the City of
Anaheim.
Also reserving therefrom unto the Southern
California Gas Company, an easement for public
utility purposes for the installation and
maintenance of gas line facilities over, under,
along and across the above portions of White Star
Avenue and Blue Uum Way. Together with ali
reasonable rights of ingress and egress. Said
reservation to said Southern California Gas
Company is subject to the prior rights of the
City of Anaheim.
Also including the abandonment of that certain
sewer line within White Star Avenue from Manhole
#11+50 to its terminus at Manhole #7+35 as shown
on Sewer Map No. 152.
BE iT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized
by this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy
of this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FOTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
