Subject:Angel Stadium Sale
To All Involved parties, investors, politicians:
I am very much opposed to the sale of the properties and land owned by the City of Anaheim
as the deal now stands. I believe the citizens of our community are not being adequately informed of the true
value of the property.
I believe the mayor and council members owe their constituents an honest and open disclosure of what is being
offered up for pennies on the dollar. I believe if the common man, who is now distracted while being consumed
with the responsibilities and losses created from current circumstances related to the pandemic, were to be
informed of repercussions from this particular give away he would be sickened. The mere fact that the parties
involved have so little regard for our unique and beautiful city that the name Anaheim is being removed from
the stadium and the team is an unmitigated tragedy as well as another financial give away. Anyone who cares
for the people and the welfare of our community should be shame stricken. The lure of personal gain and power
is a true sickness which threatens the heart and soul of those who have been given the gift of trust from those
they represent.
Please delay moving forward with this travesty until the public has been adequately informed.
We need transparency. We have a right to
transparency. We demand transparency.
Thank you for listening,
Susan AndersonGohl
