General Public Comment From:Jeanette Saldivar < Sent:Tuesday, October 6, 2020 9:32 PM To:Public Comment Subject:Angel Stadium Dear Mayor and Council This email is to kindly ask you to sell the Angels Stadium to the team. County of Orange wants a team and what better than the Angels. Without the Team we would have a rundown empty stadium. I do not believe that another team would be interested in making Anaheim their home since for years the city council has been very nasty with the team. If it's not one thing it's another but people are never happy. What the city is selling is a stadium with a parking lot. It will cost a lot of money in order to remove all the cement, add all the sewer lines, and add all the utilities that are needed for the site to prepare this land for the vision the Angels owner has for the future. This is all political because two members of the city council are always stirring the pot. Sad to say that if Tait was the mayor and had this on his shoulders and was willing to sell, he would not have any opposition. Let it go! We want our Home Team to stay in Anaheim. We don't want more bonds in our properties because the city might ask to fix the stadium or remove the big parking lot. As it is we the residents have been paying bond after bond to fix the schools. Please consider all the benefits the city will have if they sell the stadium to Mr. Art Moreno. As a resident, I know many people will look forward to moving to that section of town especially if the development will have affordable housing for Anaheim residents. That will be a great investment for families that would never dream of owning a house and now the Angels owner would make it possible. Jeanette D5 Resident 1
