AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 4 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICI-
PAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO CHAPTER 4.30.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 4 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the
same is hereby amended by adding thereto Chapter 4.30 reading
as follows:
"CHAPTER 4.30 IDENTIFICATION CARDS.
"SECTION 4.30.010 EMPLOYMENT ACTIVITIES --IDENTIFICATION
REQUIRED.
"It shall be unlawful for the following persons to engage
in the following employment activities unless such persons have
made application for an Identification Card to the City of
Anaheim as provided herein;
(1) Any person whose employment duties require him
to enter any real property or structures (devoted to Non -Resi-
dential purposes) when such entry occurs at any time in which
said premises are not open for business and when said entry is
for the purpose of cleaning or maintaining said real property
or structures.
(2) Any person whose employment duties require the
serving or dispensing of alcoholic beverages at any location
having any type of on -sale license to sell alcoholic beverages
pursuant to law.
(3) Any person whose employment duties require said
person to perform the duties of a model or who is engaged in
the business of modeling.
(4) Any person who is primarily engaged in the
business of administering massage to other persons or who is
the owner, operator or employee of a business devoted to the
administering of steam baths, turkish baths, or dry sauna baths.
This provision shall not be construed to apply to any persons
properly licensed by the State of California engaged in the
administering of massage to other persons or administering any
of the aforementioned types of baths as a system or mode of
treating the sick or afflicted or as a method of diagnosing or
treating any ailment, disease, deformity, disfigurement, disorder,
injury or other mental or physical condition of any person.
"SECTION 4.30.020 APPLICa-,TION FOR IDENTIFICATION CARD.
"Application for such Identification Card shall be made
by the aforementioned persons to the Chief of Police, shall be
accompanied by a fee of one dollar ($1.00) and shall contain
the following information:
(1) Name, age, citizenship and address of the
applicant.
(2) Full set of finger rints of the applicant (to
be taken by the Police Department.
(3) Two (2) photographs of the applicant provided
by the Police Department.
(4) A statement by the applicant as to whether the
applicant has ever been arrested and the disposition of such
arrests, other than traffic citations.
"SECTION 4.30.030
"One of the photographs to be provided by the Police
Department shall be attached to the Identification Card when
issued by the Police Department. Said Identification shall be
required to be on the person or in the immediate possession of
the applicant at all times while the aforementioned duties are
being performed. No Identification Card shall be transferable.
"SECTION 4.30.040
"Nothing contained herein shall be construed to prevent
any person subject to this Chapter from engaging in any of
the aforementioned and enumerated types of employment. The
requirements of this Chapter shall be construed to require
the identification only of the aforementioned persons subject
to this Chapter.
"SECTION 4.30.050
"Every person subject to this Chapter who wilfully fails
to comply with said Chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
