AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 902--
Seres 1963-61: in Reclassification No. 63-64-30 ,
recommending an amendment to Title 18 of the Ana eim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change or
changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 29th day
of October , 19 63 , as the time, and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall oft e City of Anaheim as the place, for
a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 or the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard -and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 63R-666 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 6312-80'6
certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to she property

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:

recorded in Book 34, Page 457, deeds, records of Los
Angeles County, California, running thence North, 1024.0
feet, more or less, to an old corner post marked H.C.K.;
thence East, 363.7 feet; thence South, 1024.0 feet, more
or less, to the South line of said section nine; thence
rest, 363.7 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEKEF,OM, that portion as granted to the State
of California, by deed recorded February 3, 1956, in Book
3381, Page 147, Official Records, in the Office of the
County Recorder of Oran --e County, described as follows:
Beginning at a 4 inch by 4 inch redwood stake on the South
line of said section nine, 2948.88 feet East of the south-
west corner of said section; thence North 1° 6' 10" West,
184.40 feet; thence South 86° 48' 50" East, 58.78 feet;
thence South 56° 30' 38" East, 70.45 feet; thence South
24° 31' 2" East 98.06 feet; thence South 1° 7' 50" East
50.00 feet to a point on the South line of said section;
thence along sa}_d South line, South 88° 52' 10" West,
26.19 feet; thence continuin along said South line,
South 880 53' 50" West, 129 feet to the point of
beginnin;.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM, that portion describedas follows:
Beginning at an old corner post marked H.C.K.; running

Beginning at a point lying South, 703.30 feet from an old
corner post marked H.C.K.; running thence East, 140.0 feet;
thence South, 14.00 feet; thence East, 223.7 feet to a
point, said point being East, 363.7 feet and South, 717.30
feet from said old corner post.

porated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans and specifications

on file with the City of Anaheim (as they apply
to subject property) marked 11Exhibit No. 1,
Revision No. 2."
2. That landscaping shall be provided in the service
station area substantially in accordance with
adopted Service Station Minimum Site Development
Standards.
3. That subject property shall be landscaped as in-
dicated on Exhibit No. 1, Revision No. 2;
PROVIDED, however, that a strip of land of a
minimum width of 6 feet shall be landscaped where
the parkin; area at the southwest corner of sub-
ject property abuts the proposed westerly streets
and Wilshire Avenue.
4. That tree wells shall be provided at approximately
40 -foot intervals in the Lincoln and Wilshire
Avenues parkways abutting subject property; that
plans for said tree wells and the plantings there-
in shall be submitted. to and approved by the
Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance; and that
said tree wells shall be planted with trees prior
to final building inspection.
5. That all air conditioning facilities shall be con-
tained within the building or properly shielded
from view.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended. is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDI14ANCE is approved and signed by me

Council of the City of Anaheim held on the 2nd day of
March, 1965, and that the same was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held
on the 9th day of March, 1965, by the following vote of
the members thereof:

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
