AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 1426._
Series 1964-65 in Reclassification No. 63-64-8, recommending
an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and a
change or changes in the boundaries of the zone of zones here-
inafter mentioned and described, as to Parcel No. 1 only, after
having held a public hearing in the manner and as prescribed in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider a
proposed change or changes of zone or zones as to Parcels Nos. 1
and 2, hereinafter described, as requested by the Petitioner,
and after having received evidence and reports from persons
interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearing and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 22nd day of
December, 1964, as the time, and the Council Chamber in the
City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title
18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution No. 64R-934, finding and determining
that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be amended
and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said zone or
zones should be made as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution 64R-934,
certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions
precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or
zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a
sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as
follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
PARCEL NO. 1•
Those portions of Lots 20 and 21 of the J. D. Taylor
Tract, in the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, as per
map recorded in Book 36, pages 58, 59 and 60 of
Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, described as a whole
as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of
Jefferson Street, formerly known as and shown on
said map as Cross Street, 60.00 feet wide, with the
centerline of Glenn Avenue, 60.00 feet wide as said
intersection is shown on said map;. thence along last
said centerline North 750 28' 59" East, 803.45 feet;
thence South 45a 39' 42" East, 89.34 feet; thence
South 500 35' 23" East, 79.16 feet to a curve con-
cave Southwesterly and having a radius of 800.00
feet, a radial line of said curve through said point
bears North 380 51' 50" East; thence Southeasterly
along said curve through an angle of 80 45' 27",
an arc distance of 122.28 feet to the Southwesterly
line of that certain parcel of land conveyed to the
State of California by deed recorded in Book 5720,
page 920 of Official Records in the Office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, and the True
Point of Beginning; thence along a continuation of
said curve, Southeasterly and Southerly, through
an angle of 520 40' 17", an arc distance of 735.43
feet to a point in said Southwesterly line, said
point being distant along said Southwesterly line,
South 160 02' 35" East, 709.81 feet from the True
Point of Beginning• thence along said Southwesterly
line, North 160 02; 35" West, 709.81 feet to the
True Point of Beginning.
PARCEL NO. 2•
That portion of Lots 20 and 21 of the J. D. Taylor
Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 16
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, and that portion of the South half of
Glen Avenue adjoining said Lot 20 on the North,
abandoned by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors
of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of said
Glen Avenue, distant along said center line North
75° 28' 59" East 803.45 feet from the center line
of Jefferson Street, said point being the North-
westerly corner of the land described as Parcel 1
in deed to the State of California, recorded May 26,
1961 in Book 5735, page 359 of Official Records;
thence along the Westerly line of said Parcel 1 the
following coursesand distances: South 450 39' 4211
East 89.34 feet, South 500 35' 23" East 79.16 feet
to the beginning of a non -tangent curve concave
Southwest having a radius of 800.00 feet; thence
Southeasterly alonfi said curve through a central
angle of 8° 45' 27', an arc distance of 122.28
feet to the most Southerly corner of said Parcel

1; thence South 16° 02' 35" East along a line that
isparallel with and distant Westerly 147.67 feet
from the Easterly lines of said Lots 20 and 21, a
distance of 709.81 feet to the most Northerly
corner of Parcel 2 of said deed recorded in Book
5735, page 359 of Official Records, said point being
the beginning of a non -tangent curve concave North-
west having a radius of 800.00 feet, a radial line
through said point bears South 790 42' 26" East;
thence Southwesterly along said curve through a
central angle of 17 12' 52", an arc distance of
240.36 feet to a point in the Easterly boundary
line of the land described in deed to Edith Williams
Gilmore, recorded May 21, 1951 in Book 2191, page
65 of Official Records, said Easterly boundary
also being the Westerly boundary line of the land
described in deed to Frank A. Showalter and wife,
recorded August 11, 1945 in Book 1327, page 258
of Official Records; thence Northerly along said
Westerly line to an angle point therein; thence
continuing along said Westerly line the following
courses and distances: North 13° 18' 00" West
160.00 feet, North 500 18' 00" West 131.00 feet to
a goint in the North line of said Lot 21, South
72 31' 00" West 93.00 feet to the Southwesterly
corner of said Lot 20, North 18° 00' 00" West along
the West line of said Lot 20 and along the Northerly
prolongation thereof to a point in said center line
of Glen Avenue; thence Northeasterly along said
center line of Glen Avenue to the point of begin-
ning.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-2, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

No. 2105 was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Anaheim held on the 26th
day of January, 1965, and that the same was duly passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 2nd day of February, 1965, by the following
vote of the members thereof:

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City
