Environmental Determination: The Planning Commission will consider whether the proposed action is Categorically Exempt from the requirements to prepare additional environmental documentation per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities). Environmental Determination: The Planning Commission will consider whether the proposed action is Categorically Exempt from the requirements to prepare additional environmental documentation per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15303, Class 3 (New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures). This item was continued from the October 26, 2020 Planning Commission meeting. Resolution No. PC2020-045 (White / Armstrong) Approved, added a condition of approval for the applicant to install an overhead netting/canopy over home plate as shown on the plans at 12.8 feet. VOTE: 4-3 Commissioners Armstrong, Meeks, Vadodaria and White voted yes. Chairperson Keys and Commissioners Lieberman and Mulleady voted no. Environmental Determination: The Planning Commission will consider whether the proposed action is Categorically Exempt from the requirements to prepare additional environmental documentation per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities). This item was continued from the October 26, 2020 Planning Commission meeting. Resolution No. PC2020-046 (Lieberman / Mulleady) Approved to uphold the Planning Director’s approval of the Minor CUP, therefore denying the appeal request. VOTE: 5-2 Chairperson Keys and Commissioners Lieberman, Meeks, Mulleady and Vadodaria voted yes. Commissioners Armstrong and White voted no. Written correspondence was submitted by the applicant responding to the appellant’s concerns regarding parking and outdoor events. Environmental Determination: The Planning Commission will consider whether the proposed action is Categorically Exempt from the requirements to prepare additional environmental documentation per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities).
