A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEEDS
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
INTERESTS IN REAL PROPERTY (CITY DEED NOS.
12492 through 12509).
WHEREAS, certain deeds described in Exhibit "A" (individually "DEED" and
collectively "DEEDS") have been presented to the City of Anaheim (hereinafter, "CITY" or
"Anaheim"); and
WHEREAS, the grantors of the DEEDS have offered to convey to the CITY
certain real property interests in connection with, among other things, utility services to their
properties and utility undergrounding; and
WHEREAS, the DEEDS and the real property interests therein will assist the
CITY with the provision of utility services; and
WHEREAS, Exhibit "A" is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference
which describes the grantors, property interests conveyed and locations of the property interest;
and
WHEREAS, based on the foregoing, the Anaheim City Council does hereby find
and determine it is in the best interests of the CITY to accept the DEEDS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein.
2. The DEEDS and the real property interests contained therein are hereby
accepted by the CITY.
3. Nothing herein shall be construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or
property into the CITY street system(Streets and Highways Code Section 1806).
4. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause the DEEDS to be
recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim this 23rd day of March , 2021, by the following roll call vote:
AYES:Mayor Sidhu and Council Members Faessel, Diaz, Brandman,
Valencia, and O'Neil
