RESOLUTION NO. 87R- 486
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHE:IM, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE CANVASS
OF ELECTION RETURNS OF THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD
IN SAID CITY ON NOVEMBER 3, 1987.
The City Council of the City of Anaheim, California
does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
WHEREAS, a special municipal election was called and
conducted in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 1987, and
WHEREAS notice of said election was duly and
regularly given in the time, form and manner as provided by law;
voting precincts were properly established; election officers were
appointed; and in all respects said election was held and conducted
and the votes cast thereat, received and canvassed and the returns
made and declared by the Orange County Registrar of Voters in the
time, form and manner as required by the provisions of the
Elections Code of the State of California for the holding of
elections in cities; and,
WHEREAS, the total votes cast at said election for
toe purpose of voting on Measure A are as shown on the Certificate
of the Registrar of Voters To Result of the Canvass of the
School/Special District Election Returns, attached hereto as
"Exhibit A."
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
Al~AIiE1M, GAL IFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
S~CTION 1. That there were 137 voting precincts
est.lblished for the purpose ot holding said election consisting of
consolidation of the regular election precincts in the City of
Anaheim for the holding of state and county elections.
SECTION 2. That the special election was held to
present for vote the following measure; to wit:
Measure A - WATER REVENUE BOND PROPOSITION:
Shall the City of Anaheim be authorized to issue
revenue bonds, not payable from property taxes, in
the principal amount of fourteen million dollars for
the acquisition, construction and financing of
additions to, and improvements of, the water system
of said City?

said City was 990, making a total of 7,508 votes cast in said City.

Measure "A" are as shown on the Certificate of Registrar of Voters
to Result of the Canvass of the School/Special District Election
Returns, attached hereto as Exhibit "Arl.
