A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNGIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT
NO. 34.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of an amendment to the General Plan in the
general location and vicinity of the property described in
Conditional Use Permit No. 616 and being generally bounded by:
Anaheim Boulevard on the west;
Orangewood Avenue on the South;
A line approximately 600 feet west of State College
Boulevard on the east; and Katella Avenue on the north,
and comprising approximately 75 acres, as shown and described
on Exhibit "A" on file in the City Planning Department, after
having held a public hearing in the manner and as prescribed by
law to consider said proposed amendment, and after having
received evidence and reports from persons interested therein;
and
~4EREAS, following the hearing thereon, the Planning
Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings
of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending
denial of said amendment to the General Plan, designated as
Amendment No. 34; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 6th day of
October, 1964 as the time and the Council Chamber in the City
Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed Amendment No. 34 to the General Plan and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and
did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 34 to the General Plan, encompassing the afore-
mentioned and generally described property included within the
proposed amendment to the General Plan, as shown on Exhibit "A,"
on file in the City Planning Department, should be approved and
become effective at the time the property is developed under
Conditional Use Permit No. 616.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 34 to the General Plan,
encompassing the aforementioned and generally described property,
as shown on said Exhibit "A" be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Amendment No. 34 to
the General Plan shall become effective at the time the property
is developed under Conditional Use Permit No. 616.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
be, and it is hereby instructed, to amend the General Plan Map
to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 34 herein approved
at the above stated time.
