RESOLUTION NO. 64R-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SETTLE-
M~ENT OF CERTAIN EMINENT DORPkIN LITIGATION;
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT DEED;
AND DIRECTING PAYMENT FOR THE PROPERTY THUS
ACQUIRED.
~.~EREAS, by its Resolution No. 64R-271 the City
Council did authorize and direct the acquisition of certain
real property for a stadium complex; and
%'CHEREAS, the City' of Anaheim did file Superior
Court action No. 123,352, entitled ~'City of Anaheim vs.
Glarice G. Keefe, et al., to condemn the property set forth
in said Resolution; and
~%4EREAS, the said City Council does find that the
sum of $33,719.70 is a fair and reasonable amount to acquire
Parcel No. 43 included in said action and said Resolution;
and
T~.~EREAS~, defendants, Mary Brunner Ferrey, Georgia
- . T have submitted their grant
M. Bradley and Amelia E ~Talter,
deed covering said Parcel 43 to the City of Anaheim in considera-
tion of the sum set forth above; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim that said grant deed be accepted and said amount paid
therefor to the above named defendants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the grant deed of Mary Brunner
Ferrey, Georgia M. Bradley and Amelia E. Walter to the follow-
ing described real property:
That portion of the land allotted to A. B. Chapman in
Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana,
recorded in Book B of Judgments of the 17th Judicial
District Court of California, in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of that certain parcel
of land conveyed to Clarice C. Keefe, as Parcel ~2, in
deed recorded September 23, 1905, in Book 175, page 161
of Deeds records of Orange County, California; thence
North 89~ 46' West a distance of 132.00 feet; thence
Sou~h 647.76 feet, more or less to an intersection with
a lzne bearing North 18° 48' 15~' East as described in the
deed to the State of California, recorded July 10, 1914,
in Book 258, page 53 of Deeds, records of Orange County,
Caii~ornia; thence North 18 48 15 East a distance of
409.52 feet, more or less; thence North 260.10 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning.
be and the same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to draw a warrant

in favor of MARY BRUNNER FE~RREY, GEORGIA M. BRADLEY and
AMELIA E. WALTER in the amount of $33,719.70.
