A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DISAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AME~-
MENT NO. 33.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending approval of an amendment to the General Plan in the
general location and vicinity of the property described in
classification Proceedings No. 64-65-19, and being generally
bounded by:
The Anaheim City Limits on the north;
A line approximately 300 feet east of Euclid Street on the
east;
Orangewood Avenue on the south; and
Euclid Street on the west,
and comprising approximately five (5) acres, as shown and des-
cribed on Exhibit "A" on file in the City Planning Department,
after having held a public hearing in the manner and as pre-
scribed by law to consider said proposed amendment, and after
having received evidence and reports from persons interested
therein; and
WHEREAS, following the hearing thereon, the Planning
Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings
of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending
approval of said amendment to the General Plan, designated as
Amendment No. 33; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 22nd day of
September, 1964 as the time and the Council Chamber in the City
Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed Amendment No. 33 to the General Plan and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportu-
nity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the aforementioned and described property included within the
proposed amendment to the General Plan is more suitable for the
general land use presently shown on the General Plan Map, and
that Amendment No. 33 to the General Plan, covering the afore-
mentioned and described property included within the proposed
Amendment No. 33 to the General Plan, should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 33 to the General Plan,
encompassing the aforementioned and generally described property,
as shown on said Exhibit "A" be and the same is hereby disap-
proved as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
