A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED°
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having
fixed a time and place for the holding of a public hearing
thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone
or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its
opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix the 28th day )f

~y Ha~ the City of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter
described, from the zone in which it is now situated and the
incorporation thereof in the zones hereinafter set forth; and did
give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided in said
Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council, did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings
and recommendations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated,
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth;
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that all of the property
and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows~

EXCEPT the East 30.00 feet thereof.
PARCEL 2: The North 92.78 feet of the South 586.10 feet

quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 18, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City
of Anaheim, as said Section is shown on a map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of said County;

ioe excluded from R-A, RESIDENTiAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and in-
corporated in R-3, I~RFLTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
That subject property shall be developed in ac-
cordance ~,.~ith all provisions of the R-3, MULTIPLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, except as provided herein.
That a vehicular access way shall be developed on
subject property, the location, length and turn-
around area of said access way to be subject to
the approval of the Chief of t~e Fire Department
to insure adequate fire protection, and to the
approval of the Director of Public Works to in-
sure adequate trash collection.
That the o~.~ner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front
foot, along Velare Street, for street lighting
purposes.
That the o~ner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of 15¢ per front foot,
along Veia~e Stzeet, for tree planting purposes.
That side~alks and driveways shall be installed
along Vela~e Street as required by the City Engineer,
and in accordance with standard plans and specifi-
cations on file in the Office of the City Engineer.
That trash storage areas shall be provided in ac-
cordance with approved plans on file in the Office
of the Director of Public Works.
That fire ?~ydrants shall be installed as required
and ietermined to be necessary by the Chief of the
Fire Department.
That the owner of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim t?~e sum of $25 per dwelling unit to

to be paid at tae time the building permit is issued.
That the eomp-ezlon o~ these reclassification proceed-
ings is contingent upon the granting of Variance
No. 1643.
That Cond~itions Nos. 3 and 4 above-mentioned shall be
complied with wit','~zin a period of 180 days from date
~ereof, or suc]z further time as the City Council may
~ra~t.
BE iT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
~e is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
u~a City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
bi~nicipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and deter-
mined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 1st day of September, 1964.
