64-542RESOLUTION NO o 64R-542 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING TO THE~CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of' purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit~ An easement for road snd _.public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owners of said property have_~__ offered to sell and convey the same t--6-the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of 3;~A~TER J._______.~RIE and GLADyS CANNON RE~and and ife to ~ to the City of ~ the fo~wing described real property situated in the City of Anaheim~ County of Orange, State of California~ to be used for am easement for road and ~ublic utilit ur oses __~ and more part-~~ 1-~-~~s~ An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across the Westerly 53.00 feet, as measured at right angles from the center line of Anaheim Boulevard (formerly known as Los Angeles Street) of the following described parcels of land: PARCEL ONE: Ail the portion of Lot 1 of Tract No. 3313, as per Map recorded in Book 107, pages 34 through 37, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, lying Northerly of a line which is parallel with, and distant Southerly 200.00 feet, measured at right angles, from the Most Northerly line of said Lot 1. Also all that portion of the land conveyed to John E. Kilroy by deed recorded August 20, 1959 in Book 4849, page 291 of Official Records of said County (indicated on Map of said Tract No. 3313 as "not a part" and also shown on a Map recorded in Book 35, page 34 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said County) lying Southerly of the most Northerly line of said Lot 1 prolongated Westerly to its intersection with the center line of Anaheim Boulevard. PARCEL TWO: That portion of Lot 4 of Tract No. 3351, as per Map recorded in Book 110, page 5 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, and those portions of the West half of the Northwest quarter of Section 23, and of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 22, both in Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as a whole as follows: Beginning at the most Easterly corner of Lot 4 of said tract; thence North 15° 28' 50" West along the North- easterly line of said lot to a line parallel with and 50 feet Northwesterly from the most Southeasterly line of said lot; thence South 74© 31' 10" West along said parallel line to the center line of Anaheim Boulevard, said center line also being the Southeasterly prolonga- tion of the Southwesterly line of said Lot 4; thence South 17© 22' 55" East along said Southeasterly prolongation to the Southwesterly prolongation of the most Southeasterly line of said lot; thence North 74© 31' l0t' East to the point of beginning. A portion of said land is included within the area shown on a Map filed in Book 35, page 34 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County. For the purpose of this description, the Westerly line of the above described parcels is considered to be the center line of Anaheim Boulevard. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property.
