A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes .
and
WHEREAS, the owner s_~_ of said property ha ve
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
offered
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
A~aheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of EARL H. DAHLMAN, a.s his
separate proper, t¥, .and~J0. A~. IS DAHLMAN, his wife, ..........
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
.public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows'
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of the North half of the Northeast
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 12, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue, formerly
Anaheim-Olive Road, 60.00 feet wide, and Sunkist Street, the
center line of which is 20.00 feet Westerly of the East line
of said street, and 30.00 feet Easterly of the West line there-
of; thence North 01° 01' 19" East along the center line of said
Sunkist Street, a distance of 218.23 feet; thence leaving said
center line South 88° 58' 41" -mast, and- at right angles to said
center line a distance of 57.00 feet; thence South O1° 01' 19"
West, parallel with the center line of said Sunkist Street a
distance of 154.65 feet to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 57.00 feet Easterly of said center line of Sunkist
Street, said point of intersection also being the beginning of
a tangent curve concave Northeasterly and havin~ a radius of
25 feet; thence Southerly and Easterly .along said curve through
a central angle of 79° 2~ 43", an arc dzstance of 34.49 feet to
an intersection with a line parallel with and distant Northerly
53.00 feet, as measured at right angles from the center line of
said Lincoln Avenue; thence South 78° 1' 24" East parallel
with said center line of Lincoln Avenue, a distance of 158 feet,
more or less; thence South 01° 01' 19" West a distance of
53.00 feet; thence North 78° 1' 24" West a distance of 226.48
feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conVey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to payto the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
[he' City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
