A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDINO AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONINO SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having
fixed a time and place for the holding of a public hearing
thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code~ and after havinG duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone
or zones, and after havinG received evidence and report's from
persons interested there in; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (~0) days following
the hearing] thereon, the Plannin9 Commission did duly. announce
by formal resolution lts~ findings of facts and declare I?t'/;'
opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described~ and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
nih9 Commission, the City Council did fix the 21st day of

hearinG upon said proposed amendment to Title 1ti of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter
described, from the zone in which it is now situated and the
incorporation thereof in the zones hereinafter set forth; and did
give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided in said
Title 15 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHE~S, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did /live all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearinG before the Planntn9 Commission, its report of findings
and recommendations~ and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated,
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth;
NC&i, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that all of the property
and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of OranGe,
State of California, described as follows:
Lots 29, 30, 31 and 32 of the Hotel Del Campo Tract, as shown
on a map recorded in Book 2, Pages 75 and 76 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California.

be excluded from R-3, MIILTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and in-
corporated in M-i, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
i ·
That the curb and damaged and/or hazardous side-
walks shall be removed and/or reconstructed along
Kroeger Street as required by the City Engineer and
in accordance with standard plans and specifications
on file in the Office of the City Engineer, prior to
final building inspection.

That the owner of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of 15¢ per front foot along
Kroeger Street, for tree planting purposes.
·
That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with the adopted off-street parking
requirement standards, and in accordance with the
requirements of Section 18.04.030, General Provi-
sions, of the Anaheim Municipal Code.

That 6-foot solid masonry walls shall be constructed
on the Kroeger Street frontage immediately behind the
3-foot strip of landscaping, except at driveway approaches,
and along the north property line.

That a 3-foot strip of land shall be landscaped and
said landscaping maintained along the Kroeger Street
frontage; that plans for said landscaping shall be
submitted to and approved by the Superintendent of
Parkway Maintenance; and that said landscaping shall
be installed within a period of 180 days from date
hereof , or such further time as the City Council
may grant.

That illumination of the parking area shall be provided
by low mushroom light standards with the illumination
directed downward and away from the residential develop-
ment adjacent to subject property; and that said light-
ing shall be subject to approval of the Chief Building
Inspector.

That trash storage areas shall be provided in ac-
cordance with approved plans on file in the Office
of the Director of Public Works and Superintendent of
Streets at such time as said trash storage areas are
demanded by the City.
That Conditions Nos. 2 and 4 above-mentioned shall be
complied with within a period of 180 days from date
hereof, or such further time as the City Council may
grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit
to the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and deter-
mined to be necessary and proper.
