64-275RESOLUTION NO. 64R-275 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit'~ An easement for road and public utilitz_j2urposes _; and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has to sell and convey the same to the City; and offered WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of WILBURN-FLUM CORPORATION~ ~a ~California ~or_poration, . to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes , and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across the Southerly 60.00 feet (as measured at right angles to the center line of Katella Avenue) of that portion of Lot 5 in Block 17, a subdivision of the South half of Section 21, Town- ship 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., as shown on a Map recorded in Book 1, page 33 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of said Lot 5 with the Westerly prolongation of the Southerly line of Lot 18 of Tract No. 2177, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 59, pages 36 and 37 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence South 89° 33' 43" East along said Westerly prolongation and said Southerly line and its Easterly prolongation 255.01 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing South 89° 33' 43" East 106.14 feet to the Northwesterly corner of Lot 24 of said Tract 2177; thence South 0° 51' 53~: West along the Westerly line of Lot 24 and its Southerly prolongation 391.66 feet to the Southerly line of said Lot 5; thence North 89° 41' 50" West 106.51 feet along said Southerly line to a line that is parallel with and distant Easterly 255.00 feet from the Westerly line of said Lot 5; thence North 0© 55' 00" East along said parallel line, 392.26 feet to a point in the Southerly line of Lot 21 of said Tract 2177, said point also being the true point of beginning. For the purpose of this description, the Southerly line of said Lot 5 is assumed to be the center line of Katella Avenue. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property.
