A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIb] FINDING AND DETERMIN]N@ THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution recommend tn9 denial
of a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned
and described, after havin9 fixed a time and place for the holding of a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code, and after havin9 duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones,
and after havin9 received evidence and reports from persons interested
therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (140) days followtn9 the
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal
resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons
for recommending denial of said proposed change in the boundaries of
the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 7th
day of Apri..! , 1964 , as the time and the Council Chamber
in the C'tty Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hear-
tn9 upon said proposed chan9e of zone or zones and did 9ire notice there-
of in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Muni,-
ctpal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearin9 an.d dt.d
give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard an~i. did
receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommendS-
ttons of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth,
is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now incorporated
and that a change of zone should not be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by th~ City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
PARCEL 1: That portion of the West 60 feet of Lot 1 of Tract No.
~"98, Berger Half-Acres, as per map recorded in book 19, page 24,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, lying.Southerly
and Southwesterly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of Section 26, in Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, distant thereon, North 89° 57' 45" East 942.18 feet from the
Northwesterly corner of said Section; thence South 42° 00' 00" East,
a distance of 760.00 feet.
PARCEL 2: Lot 2 of Tract No. 498, as shown on a map thereof
'~eco'rded in book 19, page 24, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the South 112 feet, said South 112 feet being
measured along the East line of said lot and the North line thereof
being parallel to the South line of said lot;

ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of Lot 2 of Tract
No. 498, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 19,
page 24, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, lying Northeasterly of the following described
line:
Beginning at a point on the North line of Section 26, in
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map thereof recorded in
book 51, page 7, et seq., Miscellaneous Maps. records of
said Orange County, distant thereon North 896 57' 45"
East, 942.18 feet from the Northwest corner of said
section; thence South 42° 00' 00" East, 760.00 feet, and
the Northerly 10 feet of said Lot 2, included within the
above described parcel of land;
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly 10 feet of said
Lot 2.
PARCEL 3: The South 112 feet of Lot 2 of Tract No. 498,
in ~e City of Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in book 19, page 24, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, said 112 feet being measured along the
East line of said Lot and the North line thereof, being
parallel to the South line of said lot.
remain in R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it is now
incorporated, and that the reclassification to M-i, LIGHT-
INDUSTRIAL ZONE, be denied, as recommended by the City Planning
Commission in its Resolution No. 1082--Series 1963-64.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of April, 1964.
