AND WP~REAS.~ the City Council instructed the Public Works ~nt no prepare detailed ~ ~~ ~~ %rawings ~sp.acifications~ and estimates of quantir:ies and coasts and make necessary surveys for the con- struction of said public improvement; and WHEREAS,~ said Public Works DeEartment has prepared .said der, ail~s.d d~sign~ ~.n~ ~-ffo~Yl.~s--~' drawzn'--~---~--gs and specifications for the construction of said public improvement and has submi'~tad the same to the City Council.'; and WHEREAS~ the City' Council finds that the detailed designs~ plans.~ profiles.~? drawings and specifications for said public improvement above mentioned~o are i.n accordance with good engineering pratt:ice an~ are adequate to serve the needs and requirements of the City of Ar~ahe.im and the citizens and resi- dents in said area for the purposes for which they are intended, and that they are adequate for the construction of said public improvement and should be approved~ NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the detailed designs, plans, profile~ drawings and specifications for said public improve- ~ent hereinabove mentioned and described, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted as prepared by said Public ~~Oe~ar tment, o AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said public improve- shall be constructed in accordance with said detailed de~signs~ p~ans, profiles, drawings and specifications as pr~red by said Public Works Department and hereby ~pprov~d~ and such'"addenda Or'modifications thereto as may be ~pproved prior to the awarding of bids therefor. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the Ci.t? of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed ~c p~b!ish a notice according to law, inviting sealed proposals for the furnishing of all plant, labor, services, materials and equipmen~ and all utilities and transportation, including power, fuel and water, and performing all work necessary to cc~$[ruct and complete, in a good and workmanlike manner, in ~tr~c5 accordance with said detailed designs, plans, profiles, Cr~wings and specifications as prepared by said Public Works ~__Pe~rtment , the public improvement hereinabove ~e~..~t~one~ and described, and fixing the 26th day of March 19 64~, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. as ~he date a~~]r for the opening of said bids at the City C©uncii Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and ~h.~,t said notice shall be published twice, the first of which t~blications shall be at least ten (10) days prior to the date ~ixed for the opening of bids, and that said publications ~hali be at least five (5) days apart.
