A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Plannin9 Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having
fixed a time and place for the holding of a public hearing
thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code~ and after having duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone
or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (~%0) days following
the hearing thereon~ the Planning Commlsston did duly. announce
by formal resolution its. findings of facts and declare f'ts~
opinions and reasons for recommending denial of said proposed
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described~ and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix the 7th day of
January 1964o as the time, and the City cOUncil Chambers
in the-CitY ~all--r~ the City of Anaheim as the lace for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 1~ of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter
described, from the zone in which it is now situated and the
incorporation thereof in the zones hereinafter set forth; and did
give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided in said
Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREA$~ at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearln9 and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings
and recommendations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated,
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that all of the property
and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California. described as follows:
Lot 26 of Tract No. 743, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
22, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California;
Excepting therefrom the East 189.39 feet of the North 190
feet thereof; said 190 feet being measured from the South
line of the street adjoining said Lot 26 on the North.

'be excluded from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE and in-
corporated in the following zones, upon the conditions here-
inafter set forth:
That the South 75 feet of the North 87 feet of
the West 98.55 feet of the property hereinbefore
described (Lot 26, Tract No. 743) shall be
changed to and incorporated in R-i, ONE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE; and
That the remainder of the property hereinbefore
described shall be changed to and incorporated
in R-2, TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE.
That said change of zones shall be made upon the following condi-
t ions:
1. That a final tract map of subject property shall
be submitted to the City Council for approval and
recorded in t'he Office of the Orange County
Recorder.
2. That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling
unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes,
said amount to be paid at the time the building
permit is issued.
3. That trash storage areas shall be provided in ac-
cordance with approved plans on file in the Office
of the Director of Public Works and Superintendent
of Streets, prior to final building inspection.
4. That drainage facilities shall be installed along
the newly dedicated street, as required by the City
Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and
specifications on file in the Office of the City
Engineer.
5. That subject property shall be developed substan-
tially in accordance with plans and specifications
on file with the City of Anaheim, marked '~Exhibits
Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, Revision No. 1."
6. That the existing Brooks residence on the Savanna
Street frontage, as shown on Exhibit No. 1, Revi-
sion No. 1, shall be retained.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
me is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and de-
nermined to be necessary and proper.
