98-162RESOLUTION NO. 98R- 162 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING CERTAIN DEEDS CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES OR INTERESTS THEREIN. WHEREAS, the grantors, the property interests conveyed and the locations of the properties are set forth in a certain deed described in Exhibit A attached hereto (hereinafter DEEDS) which DEEDS have been presented to the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby find and determine it is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to accept DEEDS and to pay the PURCHASE PRICE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the DEEDS described in Exhibit A be, and is hereby, accepted; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the City street system (Streets and Highways Code, Section 1806). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause the DEEDS to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange or, in the appropriate instance, deposited into an escrow pertaining to the purchase or acquisition of the property. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11thday of August , 1998.
