A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2000R-129 WHICH ESTABLISHED RATES
OF COMPENSATION FOR JOB CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS
FIRE SAFETY MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated
June 15, 2004, that Resolution No. 2000R-129 be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth;
and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 2000R-129
which established rates of compensation for classifications designated as Fire Safety
Management; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that amending Resolution
No. 2000R-129 is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as
follows:
1. That, Section 1 of Resolution No. 2000R-129 be amended by deleting the
following classifications:

2. That, Section 1 of Resolution No. 2000R-129 be amended by changing the

5. That, Section 3 of Resolution No. 2000R-129 be amended by changing the unit
of representation for one classification and deleting three (3) classifications, to read as follows:
"Section 3.
For purposes of benefits and application of Management Pay Guideline, Policies and
Personnel Rules, classifications listed in Section 1 of this Resolution shall be assigned to
the following units:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution shall be June 18,
2004.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended herein, Resolution No.
2000R-129 shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the
