A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REVISING FEES FOR
SERVICES RENDERED BY THE ANAHEIM
FIRE DEPARTMENT AND ESTABLISHING
THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF FEES.
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore adopted a fee schedule for services
rendered by the Anaheim Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve a revised fee schedule and
estabiish thc effective date of said tees; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the tee schedule is required to add certain
categories tbr which fees must be charged: and
WHEREAS, the fees so established and the categories so modified have been
considered at a duly noticed public meeting or hearing as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that said fees, in the amounts
hereinafter set forth in Exhibits "A"and "B" are less than or equal to, but in no event greater than,
the actual direct and indirect costs and expenses incurred by the City in performing the services
connected with such fees; and
WHEREAS, the City Council further finds and determines that this establishment
and amendment to fees is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality
Act pursuant to Section 21080(b)8 of the' California Public Resources Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. The tees set ibrth in the tee schedules attached hereto as Exhibits "A" and
shall be. and and the same are, hereby adopted.
2. The tees established herein shall become effective sixty (60) days following
thc date of adoption of this Resolution.
3 The fees established hcrein shall, upon thc effective date of said fees,
supersede an3, previously adopted fees for the same permit or approval.
4. The City Council hereby declares that should any one or more fees
established by this Resolution or any portion of this Resolution be declared for any reason to be
invalid, it is the intent of the City Council that it would have adopted all other fees and portions of
this Resolution independent of the elimination herefrom of any such fee or such portion as may be
declared invalid.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the Cit'v of Anaheim this 15th day of June .2004, by the following roll-call
vote:
