A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency was posted at 1:45 p.m. on June 18, 1993 at the Civic Center kiosk,
containing all items as shown herein.
Chairman Daly called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency
to order at 5:18 p.m.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY in the amount of
$171,870.06 for the period ending June 18, 1993, in accordance with the 1992-
93 Budget, were approved.
ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST: No items of public interest were addressed.
PUBLIC COMMENTS - AGENDA ITEMS: There were no public comments on
Redevelopment Agency agenda items.
161: BIENNIAL PUBLIC HEARING - ALPHA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND RIVER VALLEY
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREAS:
Submitted was report dated June 22, 1993 from the Community Development
Department recommending that the Agency conduct the Biennial Public Hearing
for the Alpha Redevelopment Project and the River Valley Redevelopment Project
Areas.
Lisa Stipkovich, Executive Director of Community Development. She gave a
brief overview of the accomplishments of both the Alpha Project and River
Valley Projects during Fiscal Years 1990/91 and 1991/92 (See report dated
June 22, 1993 which included Attachment A - four pages - listing all of
Project Alpha's eleven accomplishments in the time frame Fiscal Year 1990/91
and 1991/92.) She noted that there were no major accomplishments in the River
Valley Project Area but the Agency did make payment of principal and interest
for the flood control improvements done by the SAVI Ranch. The project has
been approved for upcoming years but no construction has started.
Chairman Daly opened the public hearing and asked to hear from anyone who
wished to speak.
Jeff Kirsch, 2661 W. Palais, Anaheim. He asked what was planned for the
parcel towards East Street where houses are being moved around as well as the
time frame.
Lisa Stipkovich. The area is under negotiation with K & B at the current time
for an expansion of a "For Sale" housing project. They should have an
agreement within 30 days with construction to start somewhere at the end of
the calendar year.
Chairman Daly. Some road work is also planned along Broadway to widen the
street.

Lisa Stipkovich. She confirmed that was correct and along with that they will
be doing public improvements on East Street and Broadway.
Chairman Daly closed the public hearing.
No action was taken by the Agency relative to the subject hearing. The report
was received and filed.
ADJOURNMENT: Agency Member Daly moved to adjourn, Agency Member Simpson
seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. (5:23 p.m.)
