A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENT LOCATED AT 711 EAST LA PALMA AVENUE
(Abandonment No. 2003-00078)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by Resolution No. 2004R-
57, duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service
easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and
published in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of June, 2004, a public hearing was held to allow
interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation.
WHEREAS, the abandonment approved herein does not convey right, title and
interest to the abandoned property, which is conveyed by separate quitclaim deed pursuant hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of a portion of the northerly 14 feet of a 70 foot wide
public utility easement located at 711 East La Palma Avenue in the City of Anaheim.
See Exhibit "A", attached hereto, for the legal description of the foregoing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this Resolution shall
not be effective until a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized
and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder
of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this8th day of June ,2004, by the following roll-call vote:

LEGAL DESCR2PTION:
The northerly 14.00 feet of an easement established by Instrument No. 95-0304242, Official
Records of Orange County, California, located on Parcel One of Certificate of Compliance
COC2003-00038 recorded as Instrument No. 2003-000879871, official records of Orange
County, located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California; the northerly line
of said easement is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the intersection of the centerline of La Palma Ave with the easterly line
of said Parcel One; thence leaving the centerline of La Palma Ave N14°29'42"W 466.06 feet
along the easterly line of said Parcel One to the Tree Point of Beginning of this description;
Thence leaving the easterly line of said Lot One N89°29'43"W 72.47 feet to the westerly line
of said Parcel One;
Excepting therefrom, the westerly 15.00 feet.
The length of the described lines on either side of the 14.00 strip shall be lengthened or shortened
as required to close on the easterly line of said Parcel One and a line parallel with and 15.00 feet
easterly of the west property line of said Parcel One
