order at 5:44 p.m.

meetings held March 27, 1990 and April 3, 1990. Authority Member Daly
seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount of
$1,225,000.00 for the week ending May 4, 1990, in accordance with the 1989-90
budget, were approved.
1. 177.123: AGREEMENT BETWEEN ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITYAND CHEROKEE MOBILE
HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION; Submitted was report dated April 30, 1990, from the
Housing Manager, Bertha Chavoya, recommending approval of the subject
agreement.
Lisa Stipkovich, Director of Community Development. She answered a question
posed by Authority Member Kaywood, explaining that the conversion of the Park
was going well with the exception that they did not like the restrictions as a
limited equity stock cooperative. They came to staff with a proposal to buy
out the State loan and become a full cooperative with no limit on their
equity. They see the value of owning their own land and do not like the
restrictions of the limited equity cooperative concept. As long as they are
willing to provide relocation benefits to anyone who would be displaced due to
the conversion, staff has checked with the State and Park representatives and
have also reviewed it in-house with the relocation consultants and their
attorneys and feel this is a fair arrangement, considering they would like to
have a free market approach to the Park.
MOTION; Authority Member Pickler moved to approve the terms and conditions
set fQrth in Mobile Home Relocation Assistance and Reimbursement Agreement for
the provision of relocation assistance to any resident involuntarily displaced
due to the conversion of the Cherokee Mobile Home Park (Park) from a Limited
Equity Stock Cooperative to a Full Equity Stock cooperative as recommended in
the report dated April 30, 1990 from the Housing Manager, Bertha Chavoya.
Authority Member Ehrle seconded the motion. MOTION GARRIED.
ITEMS OF PUBLIG INTEREST; No items of public interest were addressed.
ADJOURNMENT: Authority Member Hunter moved to adjourn. Authority Member Daly
seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED. (5:47 p.m.)
