Chairman Roth called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority to
order at 9:57 a.m.
MINUTES: Approval of the minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount of
"$787.55, in accorda'nce W~'th' ~e '198'3~84' Budget, were approved.
CONSENT CALENDAR ITEMS: On motion by Authority Member Kaywood, seconded by
Authority Member Bay, the following action was authorized in accordance with
the reports and recommendations furnished each Authority Member and as list6d
on the Consent Calendar Agenda:
1. 177/123: Authorizing a letter agreement with Rollins Burdick Hunter in an
amount totaling $2,028, cost shared on 50/50 basis by Redevelopment Agency and
Housing Authority, for public officials errors and omissions insurance
coverage, term May 6, 1984 through September 1, 1984.
Motion Carried. (Authority Member Overholt was absent)
177/166: BROOKHURST VILLAGE - ADVERTISING SIGNS: Authority Member Kaywood
reported that signs had been placed on utility poles on Ball Road west of
Brookhurst Street advertising, "Brookhurst Village Luxury Condo Rentals." She
was first of all concerned that those signs were on utility poles and, more
importantly, that those were apartments the City Council had allowed to be
converted to condominiums as affordable housing.
Mr. Norman Priest, Executive Director of Community Development, stated that
staff would follow up regarding the signs. Relative to the condominiums, he
reported that only a portion of the units were to be affordable and not the
entire development.
AJOURNMENT: Authority Member Kaywood moved to adjourn. Authority Member
Pickler seconded the motion. Authority Member Overholt was absent. MOTION
CARRIED. (9:59 a.m.)
