The City Council of the City of Anaheim met in Adjourned Regular Session.

Mayor Pro Tem Pebley called the meeting to order.
This being the time and place fixed for the opening of bids for
$2,300,000 bonds of the City of Anaheim, California, designated Municipal
Improvement Bonds, Election 1963, Series B, the following bids received
pursuant to the notice of sale were publicly opened, examined and read:
United California Bank - Manager - Saloman Brothers & Hutzler - John Nuveen &
Co., Inc. - Drexel, Harriman, Ripley Inc. - White Weld & Co. - L. F. Rothschild
& Co. R.W. Pressprich & Co. - E. F. Hutton & Co., Inc. Taylor and Company
Tannen, Winslow & Co., Inc. - First California Company Inc. - J. A. Overton
& Co., bid par, accrued interest to date of delivery and a premium of $368.00
for bonds bearing interest payable annually the first year and semi-annually
thereafter at the rates of:

of delivery and a premium of $1,109.00 for bonds bearing interest payable

Each bid was accompanied by a good faith check in an amount not
less than $69,000.00.
In accordance with the recommendation of the Finance Director, it
was moved by Councilman Schutte, seconded by Councilman Dutton, that the bid
of Bank of America N.T. & S.A. and Associates, be tentatively accepted subject
to verification of amounts by the Finance Director. MOTION CARRIED.
Ail bids were then referred to the Finance Director of the City of
Anaheim for checking and computation, and report thereon to be given to the
City Council at the regular meeting to be held at 1:30 O'Clock P.M. on this
date, on motion by Councilman Schutte, seconded by Councilman Dutton.
MOTION CARRIED.
ADJOURNMENT: Councilman Chandler moved to adjourn, Councilman Dutton seconded
the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
