to order at 2:07 p.m.
MINUTES: Approval of the minutes was deferred until the next regular meeting.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount of
~45,269.34, in accordance with the 1981-82 Budget, were approved.
171.123: COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE ORANGE COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY
(OCHA) AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO FINANCE THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN APARTMENT
PROJECT: An agreement with the Orange County Housing Authority and the City
in the amount of $4,052,700, to finance the construction of an apartment pro-
ject to be located at the southwest corner of Lincoln Avenue and Westchester,
was submitted.
Both the Executive Director of Community Development, Norman Priest, and Lisa
Stipkovich, Housing Manager, answered questions posed by Mrs. Kaywood and
Mr. Bay, clarifying that the project did not involve a special privilege that
no other developer had been able to get, there were no significant variances
given, the project would be built under the RM-1200 Code, it did not involve a
density bonus, the same kind of agreement would be available to any builder
who came in with Section 8 tandem financing, and this was one of only two
projects that had been approved by HUD in Anaheim, and the City Council had
previously authorized the project to be built in the City.
Mr. Overholt offered Resolution No. AHA82-2 for adoption, as recommended in
memorandum dated March 3, 1982, from the Executive Director of Community
Development. Refer to Resolution Book.
RESOLUTION NO. AHA82-2: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
