Chairman Seymour called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing
Authority to order at 1:15 P.M.
MINUTES: On motion by Mrs. Kaywood, seconded by Mr. Bay, minutes
of the Anaheim Housing Authority regular meetings held February 12,
March 4 and March 11, 1980, were approved. MOTION CARRIED.

amount of 34,190.80, in accordance with the 1979-80 Budget, were
approved.
177: MONTHLY STATUS REPORTS - JANUARY AND FEBRUARY 1980:
On motion by Mr. Overholt, seconded by Mr. Bay, the Monthly Status
Reports covering Housing activities for the months ending, January
31, 1980 and February 29, 1980, were ordered received and filed.
MOTION CARRIED.
177: HUD SECTION 8 REHABILTTATION PROGRAM: Executive Director
Norman Priest announced that notification has been received from
the office of Senator John Briggs that Anaheim has been awarded
$185,000 under the HUD Section 8 Rehabilitation Loan Program.
177: SPECIAL ELECTION - RENTAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENT: Mr. Priest
briefly reported that the members of the Housing Commission have
been informally contacted regarding the matter to come before the
City Council this date for the City's proposed participation in a
Special Election, called by the Orange County Board of Supervisors,
to approve rental housing development for elderly, handicapped,
low- or moderate-income persons, to be held June 3, 1980. He
advised that the Housing Cacmnissioners recommended .po6itive action
by the City Council on this proposal.

Anaheim Housing Authority, Mrs. Kaywood moved to adjourn.
Mr. Overholt seconded the motion. MOTION CARRIED.
