RESOLUTION NO. PC2000-40
A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN CONNECTION WITH
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NOS. 1722 AND 3233
WHEREAS, on July 6, 1977, the Anaheim City Planning Commission adopted Resolution
No. PC77-144 to grant Conditional Use P~rmit No. 1722 and permit the sale of beer and wine for on-
premises consumption in a proposed restaurant on property located at 5626 East La Palma Avenue; and
WHEREAS, on February 15, 1990, the Anaheim City Zoning Administrator adopted
Resolution No. ZA90-08 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 3233 and the permit sale of alcoholic
beverages for on-premises consumption with waiver of minimum number of parking spaces; and
WHEREAS, this property is developed with a commercial center located in Development
Area 5(Commercial Area) of the Northeast Area Specific Plan (SP 94-1); and that it is designated for
General Commercial land uses by the Anaheim General Plan Land Use Element; and
WHEREAS, on December 5, 1988, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. PC
88-334 to grant Variance No. 3863, in part„ approving certain sign waivers to construct a monument sign
and three wall signs; and that on November 24, 1997, the Commission adopted Resolution No. PC97-
168 to amend said variance regarding relocating the existing identification monument sign, and that
Condition No. 14 of said resolution specifi~es that the petitioner request termination of Conditional Use
Permit Nos. 1722 and 3235; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Melvyn L. Henkin, property owner, has submitted a letter requesting
termination of Conditional Use Permit Nos; 1722 and 3233 to comply with the conditions of approval of
Variance No. 3863.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission
does hereby terminate all proceedings in connection with Conditional Use Permit Nos. 1722 and 3233 on
the basis of the foregoing findings.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was adopted at the Planning Commission meeting of
