A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
ADOPTING AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTION OF
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 20001-00390 PERTAINING TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt the Anaheim General Pian
by Resolution No. 69R-644, showing the general description and extent of possible future development
within the City; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission directed staff to initiate an amendment to the Land
Use Elernent of the General Plan to redesignate subject property ("study area") from the Medium Density
Residential land use designation to the Low-Medium Density Residential designation on Parcel 2, an
irregularly-shaped 1.2-acre property located southwest of the intersection of Glenoaks Avenue and
Greenleaf Avenues, and northeast of the Santa Ana (I-5) Freeway, having a frontage of 446 feet on the
west side of Greenleaf Avenue and a maximum depth of 363 feet, and further described as 2030 West
Greenleaf Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the
Anaheim Civic Center, Council Chamber, 200 South Anaheim Boulevard, on April 23, 2001, at 1:30 p.m.,
notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the
provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against said General
Plan Amendment and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith;

WHEREAS, said Commission, after due consideration, inspection, investigation and
study made by itself, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
DOES HEREBY FIND:
1. That the evidence presented substantiates the need for an amendment to the Anaheim
General Plan and that, therefore, Exhibit A should be adopted redesignating subject area from the
Medium Density Residential land use designation to the Low-Medium Density Residential land use
designation.
CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT FINDING: That the Anaheim City
Planning Commission has reviewed the proposal to amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan to
change the current land use designation from Medium Density Residential to the Low-Medium Density
Residentia/ designation on Parcel 2, an irregularly-shaped 1.2-acre property located southwest of the
intersection of Glenoaks Avenue and Greenleaf Avenue, and northeast of the Santa Ana (I-5) Freeway,
having a frontage of 446 feet on the west side of Greenleaf Avenue and a maximum depth of 363 feet,
and further described as 2030 West Greenleaf Avenue; and does hereby approve the Negative
Declaration upon finding that it has considered the Negative Declaration together with any comments
received during the public review process and further finding on the basis of the initial study and any
comments received that there is no evidence that the project will have a significant effect on the
environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to the above findings, the
Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby adopt and recommend to the City Council of the City of
Anaheim adoption of General Plan Amendment No. 2001-00390 pertaining to the Land Use Element,
Exhibit A, to redesignate the study area from the Medium Density Residential to the Low-Medium Density
Residenfial land use designation.
