Chairman Seymour called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing
Authority to order.
MINUTES: Approval of minutes was deferred to the next regular meeting.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY were approved
as follows: for the period ending July 13, 1979, $626.95, in accord-
ance with the 1979-80 Budget; for the period ending July 17, 1979,
$29,527.49, in accordance with the 1978-79 Budget.
177: APPLICATION FOR 255 UNITS - HUD SECTION 8 REHABILITATION PROGRAM:
Executive Director Norman J. Priest briefly reported on application
prepared for funds for 255 moderate rehabilitation units in accordance
with Con~nunity Development Block Grant Application Housing Assistance
Plan, noting that the program differs from the Section 8 "Existing"
Program in that participating owners will execute an agreement with
the Housing Authority making assisted units available to low- and
moderate-income families for a fifteen-year contract period.
In accordance with the recommendations by the Executive Director,
Mrs. Kaywood offered Resolution No. AHA79-5 for adoption. Refer to
Resolution Book.
RESOLUTION NO. AHA79-5: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDS FOR 255 UNITS UNDER SECTION 8 OF
TITLE II OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974.
