Chairman Seymour called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing
Authority to order.
MINUTES: On motion by Mrs. Ka~wood, seconded by Mr. Roth, minutes of
the Anaheim Housing Authority regular meeting held August 28, 1979,
were approved. Mr. Overholt was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY: No financial
demands were presented.
177.158: AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF ANAHEIM - PURCHASE AND SALE OF
PROPERTY~ NORTHEAST CORNER OF LA PALMA AVENUE AND PATT STREET:
Executive Director Norman Priest reported on proposed agreement with
the City of Anaheim for the purchase and sale of the lot located at
the northeast corner of La Palma Avenue and Part Street, advising that
the proposal is to utilize a portion of surplus administrative funds
earned over the past three years and not expended, to acquire the
property for $42,500 and develop the parcel for affordable housing
as a part of the Neighborhood Improvement Program, subject to formal
approval of this use of the funds by H.U.D.
In reply to question by M_rs. Kaywood, Mr. Priest estimated that
approximately five units could be accommodated on the parcel~ however
he pointed out that this lot may be combined with others in order to
make more efficient use of the land.
Mrs. Kaywood offered Resolution No. AHA79-8 for adoption. Refer to
Resolution Book.
RESOLUTION NO. AHA79-8: A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY
APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FOR THE PURCHASE AND SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING
THE CHAIRMAN AND SECRETARY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.

Anaheim Housing Authority, Mr. Bay moved to adjourn. Mr. Roth
seconded the motion. Mr. Overholt was absent. MOTION CARRIED.
