AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING
(RECLASSIFICATION NO. 98-99-04).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, following a duly noticed public hearing held on
August 17, 1998, pursuant to the provisions of Section 18.03.085 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code, the Planning Commission did adopt its
Resolution No. PC98-133 determining that a change or changes in the
zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made;
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made as
conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said
zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
rezoning and reclassifying that certain property situated in the
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
PARCEL 1:
THAT PORTION OF LOTS W AND Y OF THE VAN DE GRAAF TRACT,
AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 4 PAGE 440, MISCELLANEOUS
RECORDS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT A POINT 17.71 CHAINS WEST OF THE SOUTHEAST
CORNER OF LOT W OF THE SAID VAN DE GRAAF TRACT; RUNNING
THENCE WEST 30.723 CHAINS TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LAND
CONVEYED TO ARTHUR H. SMALL BY DEED DATED OCTOBER 31,

OF DEEDS; THENCE NORTH ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID LAND

CENTER LINE OF SAID RAILROAD 30.67 CHAINS TO A POINT
17.71 CHAINS WEST OF THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT W; THENCE
SOUTH 17.97 CHAINS TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

SAID LOT W, SAID POINT OF BEGINNING BEING THE SOUTHEAST
CORNER OF THE LAND CONVEYED TO C. C. BENNETT AND WIFE, BY
DEED RECORDED APRIL 25, 1939 IN BOOK 989 PAGE 484,
OFFICIAL RECORDS; RUNNING THENCE FROM SAID POINT OF
BEGINNING WESTERLY ALONG SAID SOUTH LINE TO ITS
INTERSECTION WITH THE EASTERLY LINE OF THAT CERTAIN 550
FEET IN WIDTH RIGHT OF WAY GRANTED BY ARTHUR H. SMALL AND

NORTHEASTERLY ALONG SAID EASTERLY LINE TO ITS

SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from the
zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made a
part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning
Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning Department is
hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to
the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3. CERTIFICATION
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in said
City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it
shall take effect and be in full force.
