Councilman Boney moved to refer request to the City Planning Commission
for their recommendation and report. Councilm~n Wisher seconded the motion. MOTION

Anaheim Chamber of Commerce, that it would be of great benefit to the City if
arrangements could be made with Anaheim representatives in the Associated Chambers
of Commerce for a meeting to discuss highway problems.
Motioned by Councilman Boney, seconded by Councilman Wisser and unanimously
carried, thanking Assistant Administrative Officer, W. ~. Priday, Building l~oreman,
Rex Bruhns, Administrative Officer, Superintendent of Light, Power ~nd Water for the
very fine work ~one in the sound[proofing and beautification of the City Council
Chambers. Results prove every workman on ~he project did their Job well,

for the purpose of any person owning real property within the proposed annexation
and h~ving anF objections to %he propose~[ anneXation to appear before the City 0otuacil
and show cause why such territory should not be so annexed.
Written protest wa~ filed by Rebecca I. Johnson, owner of five acres on
Ra~mo~nd Avenue. The Johnson sisters were present at the meeting and brought up the
matter of irrigation water being furnished their grove, and stated that the pipe
line should be maintained as are .~t present, having used this line for mamy yemrs.
Further, stated that Mr. Miller was serving the water, but did not own the .line.
Mr. Bohanan inquired as to sewer and water lines in the Acacia Street
Annexation.
After discussion, the Council moved to recess on motion by Councilman Van
Wagoner, secon&e~ by Councilman Wisser. MOTION CA~RIED.
The Mayor called ~he meeting to order for the continuation of business
before the Council.
Discussion of the pipe line serving the Johnson grove was continued.
After said discussion, the Hearing was ordered closed,

his tabulations of bid proposals for the construction of the South Olive Street
Sewer, and that the Izzi Construction ComDany wa~ iow bidder. ($22,959.~5)
The Administrative Officer reported on the responsibility of the Izzi
Construction Company, and recommended ~he acceptance of the low bid.
Councilman Van Wagoner moved the bid be awarded low bidder, the Izzi
Construction Company, Councilman Wisser seconded the motion.
CITY ~ATER~ Motioned by Councilman Wisser, seconded by Councilman Vmn Wagoner, that
the City of Anaheim has no surplus of water, and that the delivery of water outside
the incorporated limits of Anaheim be discontinued, and that all users outside the
city's bound~ries be no.tilled that the City of Anaheim will discontinue such service
after six (6) months notice, unless annexation proceedings are commenced previously
thereto. MOTION CARRIED.
