A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF THOSE CERTAIN
UNUSED PIPELINE EASEMENTS LOCATED AT 251 SOUTH
PERALTA HILLS DRIVE (Abandonment No. ABA2003- 00082)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by Resolution No. 2004-
174, duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service
easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and
published in the mariner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of September, 2004, a public hearing was held to
allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation.
WHEREAS, the abandonment approved herein does not convey right, title and
interest to the abandoned property, which is conveyed by separate quitclaim deed pursuant
hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of a portion of those certain pipeline easements situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California designated in Book 10, Page 6 of
Miscellaneous Maps; in Book 1297, Page 105 of Official Records and as Instrument No. 84-
199716, recorded May 14, 1984, lying within the boundaries of Parcel I and Parcel 2 on a map
filed in Book 23, Page 2 of Parcel Maps, generally located at 251 S. Peralta Hills Drive,
Anaheim, California 92807
See Exhibit "A ", attached hereto, for the legal description of the foregoing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this Resolution
shall not be effective until a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby,
authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of
the Recorder of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 14th day of Sartambsr , 2004, by the following roll -call

No 58, Peralta Hills Tract No. 1, recorded in Book 10 Page 6 of Miscellaneous Maps, Orange
County, California, lying within the boundaries of Parcel 1 and Parcel 2 on a map filed in Book
23, Page 2 of Parcel Maps, in the City of Anaheim, Orange County, California.

That portion of that certain right of way to construct and maintain and conduct water through a
fourteen inch steel pipeline granted by Indenture recorded in Book 1297, Page 105, Official
Records of Orange County, California, lying within the boundaries of Parcel 1 and Parcel 2 on a
map filed in Book 23, Page 2 of Parcel Maps, in the City of Anaheim, Orange County,
California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying within Peralta Hills Drive

That portion of that certain easement for public utility purposes identified as "PARCEL 2" as
described in an Easement Deed recorded on May 14, 1984 as Instrument No. 84- 199716 of
Official Records of Orange County, California, described as:
The westerly 10' of Parcel 4, as shown on a map filed in Book 75, Page 46, Records of Surveys,
in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County.
