LOCATION: 1580 WEST CHATEAU AVENUE. Property is appro~dmately 0.15 acre of land on
the south side of Chateau Avenue, approximately 222 feet east of the centerline of
Loaza Street.
Waiver of required number and type of parking spaces to retain an existing gazage conversion.
There were 4 people whom spoke in favor of [he property in the existing condition.
REMARKS: Richazd B. Pember, property owner, was present to answer any questions. Code
Enforcement inspected the property and discovered a gazage conversion. Mr. Pember submitted
photographs of the property showing the gazage conversion. He stated [ha[ the property was
purchased in 1961 which included [he garage conversion in tact. Annika Santalah6, Zoning
Administrator, stated that the modification was permissible in the Zoning Code until 1962.
Therefore a condition was placed on Variance No. 4298 that Mr. Pember must attain a building
permit for the gazage conversion.

REMARKS: David Kovacs, agent, was present [o address any question pertaining to the proposal.
Annika Santalahti, Zoning Administrator, approved Vaziance No. 4298 on the basis of the foregoing
findings
