SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCE WANER'NO. 99-01 APPROVED APPLICANT: Susan Lundgren 3472 Monfair Avenue Long Beach, CA 90808 LOCATION: 1501 • 1551 South Douglass Road: Request approval of a special circumstance waiver to permit gone-day auto/bus show (no vehicle sales proposed) within an existing parking lot in the ML Zone, on June 12, 1999. REMARKS: Selma Mann, Deputy City Attomey slated that the Applicant needs to comply with State Law regarding any raffles. Annika Santalahti, Zoning Administrator stated that she would approve Special Circumstance Waiver No. 99-Ot. Annika Santalahti, Zoning Administrator approved Special Circumstance Waiver No. 99-01 to permit gone-day special event permit from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 12, 1999. Johnny Jimenez, Public Relations/for the event, 23515 Shadowcrest Place, Diamond Bar, CA 91765 (909-396-9706), representative was present at the meeting and stated that there is a $5.00 entrance fee (to cover event costs) and approximately 800 spectators are anticipated. A raffle is proposed with a portion (25%) of the proceeds being donated to a charitable organization/women's shelter and the remaining will go to cover event expenses.
