Annika Santalahti, Zoning Administrator concurred Categorical Exemption -Class 3 to serve as the proper
environmental document for this project. Approval of Variance No. 4372 was granted far the specific design
of this patio cover with waivers of both the rear and side yard. Reasons that tie into the lot size specifically to
the fact that the particular work that is being done is semi-enclosing and not involving any walls. It serves as
a screening from above rather than a screening horizontally across the properties. I don't view that in quite
the same way that I would a solid wall. The property overall has a larger side yard on the far side of the
property and has a slightly unusual setup on this property. Also included is the approval of Finding Item No.
12 (A) and (B)
