Box 25020 Glendale, CA 91221-5020 LOCATION: 700 West Ball Road: Property is approximately 3 acres located on the south side of Ball Road between the I-5 Freeway and Cast Place and encompassing a portion of The Disneyland Resort Specific Plan No. 92-1 Theme Park District (Team Disney Administration building surface parking lot). Request for approval of nine additional Special Event Permits resulting in a total of thirteen Special Event Permits during the 2000 calendar year to permit the continued use of a temporary tent located in the surface parking lot adjacent to the Team Disney Administration Building and associated Project Planner: directional signage at the southwest and southeast corners of Ball Road and (dherrick@anaheim.net) Cast Place (one sign at each corner) from October 11, 2000 through December 31, 2000 for the purpose of processing job applications for Disney's California Adventure Theme Park (Four Special Event Permits have been issued for the property this year which allow the temporary tent and associated directional signage to be in place from September 5, 2000 through October 10, 2000). ZA092100.DOC Page 1 • • Annika Santalahti, Zoning Administrator granted the Special Circumstance Waiver. She added a condition that the exact location of any temporary signage in connection with this waiver be set in the 20 foot landscape setback along Ball Road. The signage shall be reviewed and approved by a member of the Planning Department and Traffic Engineering staff. Staff will also verify that the lines of sight are appropriate and not adversely impacted. The text on the signage should be limited to "Disneyland Resort Casting this way" unless otherwise approved by staff. All signage is to be properly maintained or replaces when needed. 2.
