ZA 1987-34•
DECISION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR - N0. ZA 87-34
ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUSTMENT N0. 87-07
DATE NOTICES MAILED: November 10, 1987
REQUESTED BY: Ron and Mary Jean Nelson
1245 E. Jackson Street
Long Beach, CA 90805
REQUEST: To construct a single-family residence with waiver of minimum garage
setback, as shown on Exhibit No. 1. - 4465 Forest Glen Rd.
DETERMINATION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR
Having been appointed Zoning Administrator by the .Director of .Community
Development to decide the above-referenced Administrative Adjustment, and
having been duly noticed and no written objections having been received, I do
hereby find, pursuant to Section 18.12.080, that:
1. That the requested waiver of minimum garage setback is less than the 20~
maximum deviation permitted by Section 18.12.080.010 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code (22 feet instead of 25 feet).
2. That there are special circumstances applicable to the property such as
size, shape, topography, location or surroundings, which do not apply to
other identically zoned properties in the vicinity.
3. That strict application of the .Zoning Code deprives the property of
privileges enjoyed by other properties in identical zoning classification
in the vicinity.
4. That the request is minimal.
Based on the evidence presented to me, I do hereby determine to grant
Administrative Adjustment No. 87-07, unconditionally.
This decision is made., signed, and entered into the file this 10th day of
November, 19.87.
