ZONA 415-West Ratella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92802 REQUEST: Waiver of the following to' retain a 'Triple A' (AAA) sign panel and a 'Budget Host' sign panel on a freestanding sign at a motel on property located at 415 West Ratella Avenue: SECTIONS 18.05.093.022 - .Maximum area of freestanding sign. and 18,48.067:040 (220 sq.ft. permitted for 110 feet of street frontage; 238.5 sq.ft. proposed) DETERMINATION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR Having been, appointed Zoning Administrator by the Planning Director to decide the above-referenced Administrative Adjustment, and having been duly noticed and no written objections having been received, I do hereby find, pursuant to Section 18.12.080 1. That approval of the proposal.. to waive the maximum area of a freestandina si n is authorized by Section 18.12.080.020 of the Anaheim Municipal Code whereby a maximum ten percent;(109s) deviance from the 'Code requirement is permitted and eight and'`two-tenths percent (8.2~) is proposed; and • 2. That.. no written opposition was received` during the required 10-day notification period following the mailing of the public. notice. CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT- FINDING:. That the Zoning: Administrator has reviewed the proposal for-waiver of maximum area of freestanding signs to retain a "Triple A" sign (AAA) and a "Budget Host" sign at an existing .motel on property located at 415 West Ratella Avenue; and-that the Planning Director or his authorized representative has determined that the proposed project falls within the definition of'Categorical Exemptions, Class 11, as defined in the' State EIR Guidelines and is, therefore, categorically exempt from the requirement to prepare an EIR..
