ZA 90-30 ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUSTMENT N0. 50 CEQA STATUS: CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION, CLASS 5 DATE NOTICES MAILED: Mav 18, 1990 REQUESTED BY: PING and NORMA WU, 567 Peralta Hills Drive, Anaheim, Ca 92807 REQUEST: Waiver of the following to construct a 2-story, 11,169 sq.ft. single-family residence under authority of 18.12.080.020: Sections 18.22.062.0201 - Maximum structural height. and. 18.84.042.010 (25 feet permitted in the .Scenic Corridor.; 27.5 feet proposed) DETERMINATION OF .THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR Having been appointed Zoning Administrator by the Planning Director to decide the above-referenced Administrative Adjustment, and said adjustment having been duly noticed and no written objections having been received, I do hereby find, pursuant to Section 18.12.080: 1. That the request, to permit a dwelling with'a maximum 27.5 foot height for the central portion, amounts to a 10~ deviance from Code which is the maximum permitted in connection with an 'administrative adjustment; and 2. That no written opposition was received during the required notification period. CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT FINDING:. That. the Zoning Administrator has reviewed the proposal for waiver of maximum structural height to construct a 2-story, 11,169 sq.ft. single-family ,residence; and that the Planning Director or his authorized representative has determined that the proposed project falls within the definition of Categorical Exemptions, Class 5, as defined in the State EIR Guidelines and is, therefore, categorically exempt from the requirement to prepare an EIR. Based on- the evidence presented to me, I do hereby determine to grant Administrative Adjustment No. 50, subject to the following condition: 1. That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and specifications submitted to the City of Anaheim by the petitioner .and which plans are on file with the Planning Department marked Exhibit Nos. 1 through 6; provided that no portion of the residence shall exceed twenty seven and one half (27-1/2) feet in height.
